Katly has dabbled in an array of animation styles: traditional frame-by-frame, rotoscoping, 3D, stop motion, and motion graphic animation.
Video
From storyboards and scripts to capture, editing, and post-production, Katly is a one-person production crew when the budget is skeletal (though working with a team can bring more ambitious visions into reality!)
Still Images
Graphic Design
Communicating in images comes second nature, thanks to a lifetime of pursuing creative expression. While they’ve occasionally been put to use in slide deck presentations and software icons, Katly has primarily practiced design for the benefit of their non-profit sports league, Columbia Roller Derby.
Illustration
Working in a variety of mediums cultivates inspiration and a willingness to explore form, color, and style.
Photography
While photography isn’t a primary focus, Katly has found the craft to be a helpful tool to better understand lighting, composition, and lens choice.
